But, despite Diam’s assurance that they remove 100% of TCA, surely they have had customers claiming to have found TCA in their wines? They say they have occasionally found TCA on the bottom of one of their corks, in which case, they say, it got there via TCA infection of the wine from another source, or on the top, in which case it got there from the winery atmosphere, but TCA has apparently never been found in the incriminatory middle of a Diam cork.
